Funky Instrumentals Vol 3

A 2 track single () — released October 13th 2008 on Mukatsuku

Mukatsuku Records continues the strictly vinyl only series with the third set of instrumentals and the second by GAGLE artist and legendary beat maker and prolific producer from Sendai, Japan…DJ Mitsu the Beats. These two tracks might drop the tempo slightly on the previous two funky instrumental 7's but these new offerings still retain the funk, the fattest of beats & the illest of melodic hooks. First up is the string laden 'Snow Revolution', now properly mastered, trimmed and beefed up with the Japanese vocals removed after a fresh 2008 edit overhaul by its original creator DJ Mitsu the Beats. On the flipside is a new version of the GAGLE track 'Practice & Tactix –Soljazz Instrumental'. Originally out in 2001 on Japanese label Next Level and then a year later in 2002 as part of Nik Weston's Moshi Moshi compilation for Fuego/Harmless, the original 12 inch has been fetching huge sums on Japanese auction sites as it is one of DJ Mitsu the Beats first ever commercially available produced releases. Despite being over seven years old it still hits the spot and has a worthy place as part of this limited edition vinyl 7 inch. This new version has been retouched by Guymukat (Guynamite & Nik Mukatsuku).
